What are Dr. George’s qualifications?

Dr. George, a graduate of Penn State and Hahnemann University School of Medicine, served his ophthalmology residency at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. George is especially qualified to perform LASIK surgery, having completed a Fellowship in Cornea and LASIK surgery at Louisiana State University.

Since entering private practice in 1998, Dr. George has successfully performed thousands of cornea surgeries. Many area optometrists and ophthalmologists refer to Dr. George when their patients need corneal or LASIK surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and is Board-Certified in Ophthalmology.
