Dr. Avraham Cohen graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with distinction from Cornell University. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Cohen completed his Ophthalmology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and served as Chief Resident and Glaucoma Fellow the following year. He was also an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Glaucoma Services at Mt. Sinai.

Dr. Cohen specializes in the management and treatment of glaucoma, and in cataract surgery. Dr. Cohen is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
