Dr. Armstrong was a National Merit Scholar at Bucknell University and graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. Following two years as a Flight Surgeon in the US Army, he completed his ophthalmology training at Temple University. While there, he was honored with the “Best Eye Surgery” award.

He is the author of numerous articles on cataract surgery and glaucoma and has been an invited speaker at several national medical conferences. Following in the footsteps of his retired partner, Dr. Paul Frank, Dr. Armstrong has been the Chief of Ophthalmology at Abington Memorial Hospital since 1998.
